Parade

Join us Saturday morning for the 10th Annual Red Poppy Festival Parade. This year we will be “Painting the GeorgeTown Red!!”  Free red balloons will be given along the parade route and the Square will be decorated with dozens of painted red poppies.  Perfect for bringing in our spring parade!

The parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. and work its way through beautiful, downtown Georgetown.  The parade hosts the Georgetown High School Marching Band and Georgettes, princesses, clowns, floats, businesses, school and community organizations – all decorated and costumed in RED!  Wear red and come watch the parade and support your community.  Smile! you just may be on our cable camera as we are filming the parade for enjoyment later too.  Are you feeling the red yet?

Line up on Austin Avenue or Church Street between 6th and 10th Streets to watch, or submit an application below to participate. Everyone loves a Parade!!

Parade questions can be directed to Karen Frost, Parade Coordinator.  Please call (512) 930-2545 or email kfrost@georgetowntx.org.
