Parking, Shuttle, RideShare Locations
Shuttle Service Saturday Only
A free shuttle service will be provided to the Red Poppy Festival on Saturday only. You can park and ride the shuttle from Georgetown High School located at 2211 N. Austin Avenue or from East View High School located at 4490 E. University Avenue. The drop off location will be two blocks down from the Main Stage at the corner of Eighth Street and Forest Street (located across from the Georgetown Library). The shuttle will run continuously Saturday starting at 9 a.m., with the last return shuttle leaving downtown at 10:30 p.m.
We recommend that you use the shuttle provided on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. until after the Saturday Night Concert. To ensure the safety of our Old Town Residents, parking in the Old Town Neighborhoods will be limited and towing will be enforced when vehicles are left in a No Parking Zone. Designated parking area for Guests with disabilities will be available at the parking lot located at Tenth & Main Streets. A valid disability parking permit is required.
Event Parking:
The Williamson County parking garage at Rock and Fourth streets and the public parking lot on Austin Avenue between Fifth and Fourth streets (next to The Monument Cafe) will be open during the festival. Public parking lots on Martin Luther King Jr. Street at West Eighth and West Sixth streets are also available. There is no charge for parking.
Attendees are asked to be courteous when parking on neighborhood streets, and avoid blocking driveways or parking in fire lanes. Illegally parked vehicles will be ticketed.
Handicap parking is available at the parking lot at 10th and Main streets.
Designated RideShare Pick Up/Drop Off with WiFi is available at MLK Jr Street & Ninth Street (just south of City Hall).
The City parking lot at Sixth and Main streets will be closed starting at 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 25.
